How to Use Diceplay UI

This is the interactive user interface for Diceplay where you can manually create, edit, and color abstract designs using Diceplay's geometric primitives.

Templates

Choose a starter template from the dropdown, or start from scratch.

Edit Mode

Hover over grid for edit options. Click and drag to cycle through options for each cell, release to apply tile pattern. Use "Clear Grid" to reset.

Draw Mode

Freehand draw on the grid, then click "Convert Drawing" to snap your sketch into tile patterns.

Color Mode

Pick a color from the palette and click any tile cell to apply it. Use "Reset Colors" to restore all tiles to their default color.

Save Mode

Export your design as an SVG image or a JSON file for Diceplay display.
